In the matters arising, one members highlighted the issue of interaction with other UCRF members from other regions and to also share experiences, challenges and to support one another as UCRF.
Another issue of concern was that of coming up of teaching manuals on cancer to aid the effective sensitization of communities on cancer. Thanks to Beatrice for the presentation at wheels4Life on cancer. Last week, the UCRF Luweero team attended a Wheel4Life meeting in Masaka and during that meeting, Beatrice introduced UCRF to the participant who had attended the meeting. Anita the focal person for the Kampala team, communicated last Monday of their plan to come over to Luweero for the UCRF workshop. The workshop is intended to let the two groups develop a common focus together, members to know one another and also to set a common way forward for UCRF in Uganda.  When this information was communicated to the meeting, members unanimously welcomed and are only looking forward to the day which is yet to be communicated.
